When you book a rental, we collect your name, email address, phone number, driver’s license, proof of insurance, and payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we do not store your card details ourselves). We may also collect details you provide about your rental, such as pickup preferences or special requests.
How We Use Your Information
We use this information to process your booking, verify your identity and insurance before pick-up, communicate with you about your rental (by email and text message), and comply with our legal and insurance obligations.
Who We Share It With
We share information only as needed to operate our business: with our payment processor (Stripe) to process payments, and with our insurance provider if required to support a claim. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
SMS Communications
When you provide your phone number, we use it to send you text messages related to your rental — including booking confirmations, requests to upload required documents, and pick-up updates. SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates. Message frequency varies based on your booking activity. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP.
Data Security
Uploaded documents (photo ID and insurance card) are stored securely and used only to verify your identity and insurance and to administer your rental.
